East Africa is well known for it's great variety of prestigious big game as well as other small usually unnoticed Mammals. Photographers have photographed and documented a great variety of Mammals in East Africa and no doubt that many travellers would like to experience and interact with our beautiful Mammals in an African Safari.
Our safaris will take you to the locations of big five's, a great variety of East Africa's Antelopes-anything from Common Eland to Dik diks, Big and small cats, as well as Dogs like Genet, Serval and African Wild Cats, Hunting Dogs and Jackals, Hippos, Elephants, Rhinos and some Reptiles too. We will also take you to see the most rare and unique mammals found in East Africa, which are not found in many major tourist circuits in Kenya.
Our Central Highlands, the area around Mt. Kenya and Aberdare ranges offer a variety of high altitude species of mammals like the rare Bongo, Chanler's Mountain Reedbuck, Bohor Reedbuck, Suni Antelope, A variety of Duikers and large concentrations of the Bushbucks among other Mammals.
A visit to Ruma National Park Western Kenya will offer you a Roan Antelope and Jackson's Hartebeests, which are among the most rare and endangered Antelopes in our region. At Saiwa Swamp National Park, our smallest National Park, we will show you the Sitatunga Antelope and De Brazza Monkeys, one of Africa's Beautiful and rare Monkey. At Kakamega Forest and some Maasai Mara Forest patches, we see the rare Red-tailed Monkeys, Patas Monkeys at Northern and Western Kenya, the graceful Greater Kudu and Guenther's Dik diks at Lake Bogoria National Reserve are probably some of the key highlights.
At our Kenyan coast, we will show you the elusive and endangered Sable Antelope at Shimba Hills National Park and Even the Crested Mangabeys as well as Tana River Red Colobus Monkeys at Tana River Primate Research Reserve-north of Malindi. Tracking for the Elephant Shrews and a couple of species of forest duikers like the Yellow-rumped duiker at Arabuko Sokoke Forest is very interested though quite challenging.
