OUR GUIDES/TOUR LEADERS
A common factor with most of our clients even when it is their first time to come to Kenya, is that their need for a guide is not just for wildlife identification but someone to also help them enjoy and pursue their hobbies: walking and birding.
We take pride in the fact that our guides' views about Kenya is not limited to wildlife as is the norm in safari. They are enthusiastic outdoor people with a great peoples skill which have made them cross the guiding line to become competent tour hosts. All our guides are experienced birders and on walking tours they inevitably introduce some casual birding, something that many walkers appreciate.
They are also knowledgeable about culture and current events and they are easy to engage in a conversation without the choreography found in tourism. Continuity of a host is important in a tour as this helps in giving personal attention to the clients. For this reason our tour hosts stay with the clients from the beginning of the tour till the end.
They are open to the client's views and it is possible to discuss degrees of flexibilities within the day's schedule. Besides the field guiding they are involved in a lot of "behind-the-scenes" tour logistics ensuring that the tour runs without a hitch. As our tours cover different locations, we have local guides who have specific and the most up-to-date local knowledgeable of their area and they accompany our clients on day basis.
